Late February panel quotes remain flat for notebook, monitor use, slightly fall for TV use, says DisplaySearch

International quotes for TFT-LCD panels for late February overall remain unchanged from previous quotes for use in LCD monitors and notebook PCs, but drop by US$1-3 for LCD TV panels, industry sources in Taiwan cited DisplaySearch's latest surveys as indicating.
Mainly because retail channels in the China market are replenishing or will replenish inventories after the 2011 Lunar New Year in early February, demand for LCD TVs there is rebounding and therefore TV panel makers stand a chance of increasing quotes late in the first quarter or early in the second quarter, the sources pointed out.
